This, is your avatar.
―Avatar, Movie

Overview

Avatar is a badge glove unlocked through Nah I’d win. It was originally released on July 19, 2024, but wasn’t made accessible until July 26, 2024. Visually, the glove has robotic figures and a palm. On the back, there is a screen with a smiling face on it and a message bellow that reads 'AVI' which is the system for creating avatars as suggested by the manual inside the basement.

Obtainment

Avatar is obtained through the Nah, I’d win badge. To obtain this badge, you must defeat The Guide without teammates, without the extra heart or regeneration from the Cube of Life.

There are some efficient strategies you can learn here.

Ability

Avatar’s ability, "Basement", allows the user to place a circular patch of grass with a trapdoor on the designed area, which leads to a basement. Once the basement is created, the player may get close to the trapdoor and hold 'F' on a proximity prompt to open the trapdoor and enter it. Inside the basement, you have the capability to create and modify 4 different unique avatars.

The player is able to create different avatars with the use of Avatar Power Power (which you can collect up to 1000 of) (not to be confused with slapping power) and, once the avatar is done "gestating", the player is able to control it in the main arena by interacting with the keyboard and screen. The avatar will not be able to receive knockback, and will be alive until its lifespan runs out, which it loses passively, and it also loses 5 HP (lifespan) every time it is slapped.

Killing anyone yourself will grant 20 power, and killing anyone with the use of your avatar will grant 10 power.

Additionally, you can upgrade the basement with various enhancements, mostly to obtain more power.

Currently, there are four different avatars: Humanoid, Squirrel, Golem, and Abomination. The basement can be upgraded with three options: Tycoon Support, Generator, and Security Cameras.

Avatars/Bases

The Humanoid is one of the four avatar bases. It resembles a Roblox Noob with yellow skin, a blue shirt, and green pants. It also wields the Default glove. It costs 0 power to create and has four upgrades.

As its attack, the player is able to click on the screen in order to slap using the avatar.

LegDay Upgrade

The Frog DNA upgrade.

Makes the Humanoid able to jump higher, also gaining more "buffed" legs. Costs 5 power.

Makes the Humanoid take more time to deplete its health. It also gives the avatar a green aura around it. Costs 10 power.

Description: "Generally improves your lifespan"

Sonic Upgrade

The Sprinter Muscle Memory upgrade.

Makes the Humanoid faster. Costs 8 power.

The Squirrel is one of the four avatar bases. It resembles a squirrel. It costs 25 power to create and has five upgrades.

As a main attack, the user is able to bite players from up close with the use of click (dealing knockback). And as a E to use attack, the user is able to charge at other players similarly to Slapstick.

The Golem is one of the four avatar bases. It resembles a golem spawned by the Golem glove but made of wood. It costs 50 power to create and has five upgrades.

As a main attack, the player can smash the ground with the click button and knockback everyone in close range. As a E to use attack, the player can smash the ground with both hands in order to pull up stone pillars, which upon hitting anybody will deal knockback as well. The golem also cannot jump.

Makes the Golem have a longer timer on its healthbar. Costs 25 power.

Description: "Increased lifespan."

Significantly decreases the Golem’s attack cooldown by placing a blue battery on its back (having little to no cooldown with this upgrade). Costs 50 power.

Angry Upgrade

The Powerhouse upgrade.

The Golem’s attack deals more knockback, have bigger range and the golem is now able to use the E ability to make stone pillars like The Golem Vurgan. Gives the Golem a red eye instead of a blue one. Costs 40 power.

Description: "Attacks now deal more knockback and have bigger AoE"

The Abomination is one of the four avatar bases. It has the same body structure as a Golem, but it is more fleshy and has bones. It also has a large mouth on its torso. The Abomination has 3 attacks. By pressing E, it attacks by slamming its arms on the ground, and can deal up to 100 power if upgraded. It's second attack is used by holding E, and makes the abomination grab a rock and throw it with 100 power, if it is upgraded. Lastly, it can also attack by grabbing players to eat them. It costs 100 power to make and has four upgrades.

Tycoon Support

Tycoon Support is one of the three basement upgrades. It creates a pole near the basement hatch that Tycoon users can interact with to connect their tycoon to it. Depending on how upgraded the Tycoon user's tycoon is, you will get more power per second, peaking at a +4 power per second.

Description: "Adds a tycoon modifier."

Costs 100 power to purchase.

Generator

Generator is one of the three basement upgrades. It creates a generator near the basement hatch that gives 1 power/s every 2 seconds while it is functional. It will occasionally overheat, in which only the Avatar user themselves can fix it (although the user will have to exit the basement). The creatures summoned will not be able to fix the generator.

Description: "Adds a generator that gives you a passive stream of power."

Costs 100 power to purchase.

Security Cameras

AvatarSecurityCameras

Screen for using the security cameras

Security Cameras is one of the three basement upgrades. It places two poles with security cameras beside the basement hatch. You can watch from the cameras with two screens in the basement.

Costs 50 power to purchase.

Pros & Cons

Pros

Click “expand” to see the rest of the pros
  • The generator or Tycoon Support can auto farm power for you, making killing players unnecessary.
    • You can use the cameras to see if it is safe outside before going out to fix your generator.
    • The generator only takes 5 seconds to fix, which is important since staying outside the basement is dangerous.
    • If the Tycoon is being threatened, such as a player pressing the self destruct button, it will make a light in the bunker flash red.
    • You can connect the Tycoon to the bunker from any distance.
  • The boulder from the abomination is great for attacking players that are out of range.
  • Great against campers and teamers.
  • Easily the best glove in the game for combos. All the avatars are great due to their short cooldowns.
  • You are not affected by most abilities while in an avatar.
  • If a Reaper timer is present when you enter your basement again, it is removed.
  • Due to the large AoE of the abilities you may hit off hidden Ghost and Prop users.
  • Players may mistake the Humanoid for another player, and the golem for a real Golem.
  • You gain I-Frames when entering and leaving the basement.
  • You are immune to rob and bob's portal while in an avatar.
  • The cannon from the squirrel has no cooldown.
  • The powerhouse modifier for the golem's ability lets the boulders reach high places (such as hiding players) with ease.
  • The avatars have decently long life spans, such as the abomination, which clocks in at 1:30 at max.
  • You cannot be attacked by other Avatars.
  • Humanoid and Squirrel can easily kill Titans, as it drains their health faster when slapped for some strange reason.
  • You can team with a Guardian Angel in order to protect your avatar, as if it dies, it will respawn back on the main island. (Unless the timer goes out)
    • If the timer goes out, you will be sent back to the bunker with the effect.
  • You can place the basement on every island except for Slapple Island.
  • You can sit in Clouds as an avatar. This helps you move around the map quickly.
  • You can control and ride Rattlebones ability, Larry, as an avatar.
  • Players can only drain your health as an avatar once every second, therefore gloves like OVERKILL and Rhythm are unable to quickly reduce your health with their speed.
  • Track's projectile cannot follow you into the basement.
  • Unlike Titan, Sparky cannot damage the avatar with its high speeds.
  • Avatars can collect orbs, such as the Jet orb, and Phase orb.
  • You can use jump modifiers for the Humanoid and Squirrel to jump over obstacles, like Fort.
  • Players can use Prop glove to pretend to be your avatars.
  • Players camping outside your basement can easily be hit off the edge if your bunker is located there.
  • New players can get caught off-guard from your avatars.
  • If you keep eating players, your abomination could last indefinitely.
    • Players may wait in the lobby for your avatar to die however. So on average you last about 10-20 minutes.

Cons

  • If you die, you instantly lose all your progress along with the basement.
    • However, this is unlikely as the player can simply stay in the basement and only use avatars.
  • Falling into the void instantly kills your avatar.
  • MEGAROCK, CUSTOM and Defense are some gloves that can block your basement's hatch.
  • Bull can slap your generator to instantly break it, stopping your passive Power gain.
  • Some avatars lose health when slapped. Speedrun & Ultra Instinct users can take advantage of that by hitting and running.
  • The humanoid can still be countered by Counter and Jebaited.
  • You have to leave your basement as a normal player to fix your generator.
  • People can camp your basement to slap you when you leave making you take damage.
  • Takes a while to reach a high level without help.
  • The abomination is vulnerable to death while eating players.
    • This means if they are rubbing up on a MEGAROCK while eating, the user can die.
    • The abomination can also die if the player resets right before eating.
  • Engineer users may place a Sentry to knock you off the map while you are leaving the bunker.
  • Slapstick's charge can still do knockback to your avatar.
  • Players will target you when you leave the basement.
  • The avatars are not great for traveling due to the lifespans being limited.
  • Counter can still knockback humanoid avatar.
    • This is most likely a bug.
    • The Super Saiyan animation however does not do knockback.
  • If you place a new basement, all your progress from the old one will go away.
  • Avatars cannot collect Slapples due to their invincibility.
  • When leaving your basement the animation could bug your hitbox, resulting in the avatar user being flung.
  • If a player is eaten by the abomination, they can still slap while dead, which allows the abomination to get slapped if it walks over the dead player.
  • Cloud completely bugs the Avatar user if the Avatar itself sits on the cloud, leading to the Avatars actual self to sit on the cloud, and soft locking them from going to their basement.
    • If you abused this glitch, it would be Glitch Abusing, which may lead to a ban.

Glove Interactions

  • Upon entering the basement, you lose Reaper's effect completely.
  • Cloud is immune to all of Avatar's abilities.
  • You can drain the health from Titan users a lot faster upon slapping with the humanoid.
  • Quake can use their ability to damage your avatar from anywhere on the map.
  • Tycoon users can link their tycoon to your basement to give you 1 power per second while sacrificing receiving power themselves. This only works if the Avatar user has the Tycoon Support Upgrade and the Tycoon user has at least 10 points.
  • Bull can break the generator.
  • If a player uses Voodoo on you, and you enter the basement, the Voodoo doll will despawn.
  • Your avatar can move in God's Hand's timestop if it comes out after timestop begins.
    • Similarly, if your avatar is out while the timestop is activated, it will freeze, however you can still use all the abilities.
  • If Charge comes into contact with your avatar, it will automatically turn off its ability.
  • If you slap a Parry user with the humanoid, you will get stunned, but the Parry user will get slapped as well.
  • If you slap a Shield user with the humanoid, the Shield user will get slapped and lose their shield in the process.
  • A Ghost will not reappear after slapping your avatar, meaning they could keep slapping you and you would not be able to see them.
  • If you slap a Ultra Instinct user with the humanoid, it can still dodge but it will still do knockback.

Glove Strategy

  • Upon spawning in, place your bunker and kill a player once to get 20 power. If the server seems more dangerous, you can just use a base humanoid.
  • Stick with the Extra Protein and Sprinter Muscle Memory, as they can help you live longer and get power faster.
  • Once you get around 60 power use the following 3 upgrades on the humanoid for farming power: Extra Protein, Improved Lifespan, Sprinter Muscle Memory
    • Continue grinding power until 100 power and get the Tycoon Upgrade if you have a friend to help you.
    • If you don't, then just keep grinding up until 260 power. (Or the avatar you want)
    • Try not to buy the generator, as people can easily camp you, or the cameras because it can make the server laggy.
    • From there, you can easily destroy the server.
  • Place your basement at the center of the island so that you can spend less time walking to players
    • Unless there seems to be campers trying to kill you, then go to a side island.
  • Farm until 260 power to get the maxed out Abomination avatar to maximize lifespan and power gain.
  • Get a friend or team with someone in order to help you get high Tycoon power, as it helps a whole lot.
  • Use the camera to see if there are any hazards outside your basement. If you can't afford it, just use the base humanoid.
  • If someone used MEGAROCK or CUSTOM on top of your basement, you can either:
    • Get a swapper to help you
    • Purchase Frog DNA in order to more easily get unstuck
    • Use the Squirrel base (as it is smaller, if there is any gap between the megarock and the basement, you will be able to go through that gap
    • Spam jump before interacting with the keyboard (sometimes it will make you spawn on top of the megarock).

Once you get the power to a point your comfortable with, you can create any other avatars and combinations you like.

  • A fully upgraded Humanoid costs 31 power
  • A fully upgraded Squirrel costs 115 power
  • A fully upgraded Golem costs 215 power
  • A fully upgraded Abomination costs 260 power

Trivia

  • This is the first glove to be shown on purpose but not obtainable.
    • Before it was obtainable, when clicking it with the Nah, I’d win badge, it would show an animation showing its inaccessibility.
  • The reason why Avatar was delayed is because there were many bugs with the glove.
    • Keep in mind, there is still a significant amount of bugs with the glove, as this is one of the most complicated/complex gloves in the game.
  • The badge of this glove is based on the "Nah, I'd win" meme from an anime named Jujutsu Kaisen. The badge icon is also a reference to the Angry Dr. Mario ai meme.
  • The note in the basement left by the Guide has a spelling mistake, misspelling ‘update’ as ‘upadte.’
  • When "Powerhouse" modifier is active on the Golem, it gains the attacks of The Golem Vurgan (the one guarding the first obby room of Where Guide Resides)
  • The pizza box in the basement is from a food chain called Little Caesar’s.
  • The cameras upgrade is unstable, so it is advised you buy them with caution.
  • The outer casing upgrade on squirrel disables the defense system upgrade.
  • Avatar is likely the glove that the Guide used to create the clone of himself in the Lobby.
  • The basement hatch spawned by the ability also spawns a circle of grass around it. If you place the hatch on a non-grass surface, such as the wooden bridges between islands, the grass will be more visible.
    • This grass doesn’t have collision, so if it hangs over the edge, don’t step on it or you will fall.
  • The system for creating avatars is called "AVI", as suggested by the manual and the back of the glove.
  • The tube in which avatars gestate was supposed to be textured, but it isn't.
  • The screens in which you select modifiers are actually holograms.
  • Clones aren't actually characters that are "alive," thus most if not all glove abilities won't work on them (they also technically don't have a glove, which is why Reverse and other gloves don't work on it).
  • Attempting to buy anything without having enough power will display a text that's really badly aligned & padded reading "Not Enough Power", although only when trying to purchase avatars.
  • After the confirmation of needing Nah I'd Win to obtain Avatar, the badge faced a lot of hate due to the obtainment method being extremely difficult.
  • If you have a max tycoon and a generator, you can reach the max abomination avatar in just a minute and twenty seconds.
  • The abomination actually eats from the mouth on his stomach.
  • This is considered by many to be the most overpowered glove in the game.
  • The glitch effect when the avatar dies is the same as the Glitch glove texture.
  • Interestingly, one of the squirrel modifiers explain that when you hit someone with the ability, it will shoot a track missile at the player, however the ability does not do this.
  • The avatar's hitbox changes based on its size; however it is a bit glitchy.
  • Quake is the only ability that takes away health from the avatars.
  • There is a glitch where a Sbeve can infect you while inside an avatar, which makes you stuck permanently as Sbeve, however it will still be hidden inside the avatar, allowing you to still infect players.
  • If there is an avatar seen on the cameras, it will show the user instead of the avatar itself.
  • You cannot enter Pocket's dimension or Interact with the cannon on Cannon Island as an avatar.
  • If the abomination eats a player effected by Guardian Angel, they will survive, but their avatar will glitch out and not move properly.
  • The bottom left of the banner is labeled “PLAYING LOG23.MP4” implying that the banner is a frame from a video recording of the basement.
    • This is likely a recording of the Guide making his clone.
  • One of three gloves you can get in Where Guide Resides the others being Relude and Hunter.
  • There was an admin button for Avatar during testing that gave 10 power.
  • The grass by the bunker changes during Seasonal Events.
    • During Halloween, the grass surrounding the basement is colored orange.
    • During Christmas, the grass surrounding the basement is replaced with snow.
  • Very similar to Poltergeist, as both of them allow you become invincible while the ability is active and you get brought back to your body if you touch the kill barrier, or your lifespan runs out.
  • This glove is considered by many to be one of the most overpowered gloves in the game.
